Xikar's Single Stick Case

Posted: Monday, May 05, 2008

By Gregory Mottola

Here’s the situation: You’re destined for a party where you know you’ll be the only one smoking, and you know you’ll only have time for one cigar. The single stick you choose from your humidor has neither protective tube, nor cellophane. You can’t put the cigar in your pocket because by the time you light up, it will be in shreds. You don’t want to put it in your large cigar holder because the case is just too big for your pockets, and you can’t bring the smoke in an empty toilet paper tube like you do when you go to your brother-in-law’s. So how do you house a single stick in gentlemanly style?

Enter Xikar’s Envoy series of leather cases. The streamlined cylindrical case is thick enough to fit most cigar sizes, but small enough to fit fairly comfortably into your pants or coat pocket. Plus the selection of simple colors will match most outfits and moods.

Both ends of the cedar-lined Envoy are capped with glossy silver tops and bases, and the prominent white stitching ads a subtle touch of character. They are available in four colors: blue, red, black and cognac (which is really a very dignified shade of brown). Each retails for $29.99 and comes with a lifetime guarantee.
