CRA Tour Begins Tonight

The Cigar Rights of America Freedom Tour begins tonight with a launching gala at Hudson Terrace in New York City. The night will feature an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and cigars.
More than 20 cigarmakers were scheduled to be in attendance tonight: Avo Uvezian, founder of the Avo brand; Carlos Fuente Sr. and Carlos Fuente Jr., the father-son team behind Arturo Fuente and Fuente Fuente OpusX cigars; Charlie Toraño, president of Toraño cigars; Christian Eiroa, president of Camacho cigars; Eric Newman, president of J.C. Newman Cigar Co.; Ernesto Padilla, founder of Padilla Cigars; Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, maker of La Gloria Cubana; Jonathan Drew, founder of Drew Estate; Jorge Padrón, president of Padrón Cigars Inc.; Jose Oliva, vice president of Oliva Cigar Co.; Keith K. Park of Prometheus and God of Fire; Litto Gomez, maker of La Flor Dominicana Cigars; Manuel Quesada, maker of Fonseca cigars; Nick Perdomo, the owner of Tabacalera Perdomo; Paolo Garzaroli of the Graycliff cigar brand; Peter Baenninger, president of Davidoff of Geneva; Pete Johnson, creator of Tatuaje cigars; Robert Levin, owner of the Ashton brand; Rocky Patel, owner of Rocky Patel Premium Cigars Inc.; and Tim Ozgener, president of C.A.O. International Inc.
Tickets to the event were still available as of this morning at a variety of cigar shops in the New York City area.
The tour moves to Milwaukee and Minneapolis on Wednesday, Chicago on Thursday and concludes in Orlando on Friday.
